Turn away from sin and live the Gospel

That will be the words of priests and special ministers to us as they put ashes on our foreheads.

As we receive ashes on our foreheads today...

We are reminded to repent
We are reminded to be sorry for our sins
We are reminded to make changes

The ashes placed by the priest on our foreheads reminds us that in the end we all return to dust. Titles and riches dont last.

Let us put our hearts and minds on what truly lives and lasts.
