The Scriptures

When we read the bible, we see many kinds of unusual things.

Things like....

A homeless man becomes a father of nations.
A sheperd become a king.
A virgin becomes a mother.
A fisherman becomes the Messiah's follower or successor.

We can see that God chooses His people to be His messenger. We are all sinners, so for me, it's quite hard to choose the right person. Matthew was a tax collector (a very wealthy man in a sense) but Jesus asked Matthew to follow Him. And so he did follow Christ. All of us are being said by Christ, "come and follow Me"... But are we really following Him?


Our journey with God is marked with strangers and with nobodies doing the impossible through Him. These things uphold around you everyday, but we usually don't notice them.
