A true soldier who serves his master (another inspiration)

In Paco, Manila - Philippines stands a statue of a samurai and daimyo, Takayama Ukon. He was baptized at the age of 12. He refused to give up his Christian faith, his noble status was stripped and he was exiled with 300 others from Nagasaki in 1614. He died a saintly and holy death in Manila with almost a thousand attending his funeral.

Aside from that, he is a true soldier who served his master. We too must be loyal to our Master like Takayama did. We'll never know if the reward is great or not... :)
