Demon

Demons excist whether you believe them or not

-Fr. Moore (from the movie "the exorcism of Emily Rose")

2 days ago, me and my ate watched the movie "the exorcism of Emily Rose" I learned new things by just watching the film. Things like how exorcism takes place, latin languages, and especially about Demons... well, that's practically the reason for the film, to awaken the world about demons.

Up to now my ate asks me to sleep beside her in her room. She's afraid that she might wake up at 3am and smell something burning like in the movie. haha. like that's gonna happen.

I'll be honest, the movie still freaks me out. I can't sleep up to morning. The only thing that could make me sleep is when I read the book by Dan Brown titled, "Angels and Demons"-- Robert Langdon's first adventure

Beggining and end

"Everything that has a beggining has an end"

-Agent Smith (from the movie "the matrix")
Soon, all of us will be gone. Meron din tayong katapusan.
Sad to say, mamamatay din tayo. Dahil sabi nga ni Agent Smith, yung kontrabida sa matrix, "everything that has a beggining has an end"
Sabi nga sa kanta ng cushe', "life's to short, we should'nt let the water to run dry"....
Maswerte nga tayo dahil buhay pa tayo ngayon e...
Some people are not thankful of the life they are having right now. Some people does'nt pray in order to say thank you to God. And for some people, they dont actually pray at all.
We must pray even if we dont ask something.
We must pray even if we are suffering.
We must pray even through the times of difficulties.
Our time will soon come. Death is part of pur life, and deathe is our constant companion...

Can't see Him? Then go find Him!

It does'nt mean that if you can't see something, it does'nt exist....

-Archer (from the movie toy soldiers)
I just watnched this movie a couple of times now... and I just remembered this line said by archer (the toy in the movie)....
I just remembered the lesson that have learned from school, a classmate of mine asked our teacher, "ma'am, bakit po si God di nagpapakita at samantalang ang demonyo nagpapakita?" then, our teacher answered, "dahil magkakagulo pag nagpakita si God... Chaos will be hapening if that happend"......
Then something popped into my mind about angels..... That God is so powerful and glorius that he cannot be approached by any human being... That's the reason of why he created angels.....
Let me go back to the statement, "It does'nt mean that if you can't see something, it does'nt exist..." We people, have not yet seen God face to face, we have never seen Him, not even a glance of a shadow... That is what I have learned from that statement, that it's not yet time for us to see Him yet. We need to find Him. Sabi nga nila, "seek and you shall find"

In today's Gospel talks about the opportunity ton bear witness.

In times of persecution and trial, we can be lost in fear or caught up in sadness...

But these are moments of living our faith!!!!!!!!

"Always keep in mind that, dont worry in advance about what to answer, for I will give you words and wisdom" Luke 21:13

It's hard to forgive, and it's even harder to forget

In USA, Cardinal Bernardin was accused of abuse by an x-seminarian. Despite the Cardinal's denial, media feasted on the story, and publicity practically destroyed his reputation.

When his accuser admitted his false charge, the Cardinal already had cancer.

Yet, he willingly forgave the x-seminarian....

here's the question..... Can you be as forgiving?

To all boys in Murphy, cubao qc.... 8 and above......

Our King has a stable as a bed, the sky as roof, thorns as crown.

The Sheperd's staff his scepter, dusty garments his robed, the roads his realm. His army, me, kuya dave, abraham, matthew, Joseph, jerome, and all that you see in the altar.

This is the question..... are you one of those in active service? or are you simply reserve? retired? or semi retired?

Well.... join us........ enlist now!

join........ Ministry of Altar Servers, Transfiguratin of Our Lord Parish.....

Inaantay ka namin..... text me at 09228101851 if you want to join...

Be like Lazarus?

When Jesus arrives in Bethany, he learns that Lazarus has been dead and buried for days. Mary and Martha greet Him wiht tears.

Even as we walk and work, we can be like Lazarus, buried in our own world and stuck with our self-centredeness

Jesus tells you... "come forth! come out of your airless limits now!"

The endless blesings

Ps 23's overflowing cup is a powerful reminder. It's a cup not just filled, but running over. A good symbol for our everyday which is full of grace.

From the moment we wakeup to the time we retire, God gifts us with endless blessings.

Just try not to miss them.

Enjoy them and be thankful for them

Respect

In God's presence to moses as a burning bush, Moses takes off his sandles. He does this in reverence to the sacred.

How about you?

Are you aware of the sacred moments that hapend to your life?
a friend pouring out their pain??
an enemy finally saying sorry?

Take off your sandals! Give respect as God reveals His presence.

The Resistace

We dont always feel at peace with ourselves. Sometimes we react negatively to someone's words or actions.

We play deaf and blind to God's movement in our life. When we do this, we resist Him.

Find a quiet moment today and sense your forms and sources of resistanmce againts Him. Let God touch your heart.

The days before Christmas

It's exactly 38 days before Christmas!

Bring to mind all the signs, sights, sounds and symbols that speak to you of Christmas

How do you feel as the Lord's birth nears?

Prayer:

Lord, teach me to be like a child. Give me the grace of joyful expectation and wonder. May your birth bring new life to my spirit.

Another thing about their so called "young saints" of Don Bosco

Well..... an incident that occured on the date of November 16, 2005...

It was about a few minutes before dismissal time at 4pm. We just finished our interaction with CSR (Colegio De Santa Rosa)......

*I will not mention the real names of the individuals (these individuals are my classmates) involoved due to the protection their identities*

*Instead, I will use these code names SAR and JOB*

It was about 10 minutes after arriving to the classroom.... SAR and JOB were fooling around.... they were running around the classroom..... and suddenly na biglang napikon si SAR.

SAR suddenly got his cutter in his pocket. Upon reaching JOB, he lowblowed him and SAR stabbed JOB 4 times in the back.

I was there looking at them. When I saw blood pouring out of JOB's back, I rushed to them. JOB was one of my friends so I helped him.

We went to the clinic together with marc and fulton.

At the clinic, I saw 4 marks. 2 was mild and the other 2 was so deep. The doctor asked me to apply pressure to the wound, because the blood wont stop.... They called an ambulance from lourdes hospital... and that will take JOB to the emergency room for the stitching of the wounds. As for SAR, he was called to the APSA office. Man, is he got some explaining to do!!......

You would probably ask me if why did I tell this story?

If you recall my previous post "the truth of today's don bosco's organization", I telled them about the attitudes of bosconians today. "violence is not the answer" ika nga! pero bakit ganon?

Lagi samin sinasabi na, "you are here in Don Bosco for a reason. And that my dear bosconians is non other than our Mother, Mary"

Lagi samin sinasabi na, "your goal here in Don Bosco is to become servant leaders in the church of the poor and benchmarks in the field of technology"

Lagi samin sinasabi na, "Your aim here in Don Bosco is to assert Gospel and authentic Filipino values"

ganyan ba ang sinasabi nilang YOUNG SAINTS???

ganyan ba?
ganyan ba?
ganyan ba?

Sori once more again my fellow BOSCONIANS, SALESIAN YOUTH, YOUNG SAINTS or whatever they call us.... basta sana magbago na tayo!!!!!

once again I would like to tell you...

I'm not telling you to accept the truth. It's up to you. But I'm telling you to hear, face and to know the truth....

2 sides

We each have two sides: Light and shadow.
Let us not allow our dark side to overcome us. Instead, let's use our shadows as tools to better understand ourselves and others.
Let our shadows lead us to light!
How aware and accpting are you of your own shadows?
Can you accept the shadows of others?

With angels......

No evil shall befall you, nor shall affliction come near your tent, for to His Angels God has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways. Upon their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Psalm 91: 10-12

Trust your Angel. God assigned them to you....... Angels represent God... because God is so powerful and glorius that he cannot be approached by any human being (i read this somewhere in the book of Timothy i just forgot it)

Light or Dark?

I would rather walk with God in the dark than go alone in the light

-Mary Gardiner Brainard

Learn to Love the Lord and appreciate Jesus' sacrifices for us through service.......

New begginings

There are two kinds of people:
  1. Those who say to God, "thy will be done"
  2. Those to whom God says, "all right then, have it your way"

- C.S. Lewis

Every day has a new beginnning, a new hope..... Listen to words that uplifts and gives hope... It's just a step away......

God's willingness

What is God's altar if not the soul of those who lead good lives?
... Rightly then, the heart of the just is said to be the altar of God.

Prayer is laying hold of God's willingness. Experience the double blessings of prayer through service.

A poem for our mothers...

A Mothers Smile
You took care of me when I was small,
you lack sleep because of my call
As I cry at your shoulder,
you put joy into my face.
By using your smile with no disgrace.
As you hold me into your arms,
with your warmth all over my body,
your smile became dear to me,
like that of a precious ruby.
